Dr. Sweet – President

A compassionate leader and strategic visionary, Dr. Sweet serves as the President of GOGI, driving the organization’s mission to empower girls through education and alumni engagement.

Dr. Sweet serves as the esteemed President of the Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI), leading the organization with vision, passion, and a deep commitment to fostering unity and excellence among alumni of St. Maria Goretti Girls Grammar School.

Her dynamic leadership has been instrumental in driving GOGI’s global growth, empowering members, and advancing the organization's mission through education, sisterhood, and service. Under her direction, GOGI has successfully launched transformative projects, including school building renovations, scholarship awards, and health initiatives that continue to impact lives.

Vice-President 

Gloria Efemini

Gloria Efemini serves as the Vice President of Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI), pivoting to support the President and ensure the organization's smooth operation. With her extensive experience in finance , management consulting and project management, Gloria brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to her role.

  •  She kicked off her banking career in Lagos at First Atlantic Bank(now First Inland Bank) subsequently working in Broad Bank and Union Bank before moving to Ireland in 2006

  •  In 2007 shortly after arriving in Ireland, she joined Merrill Lynch as an Analyst and has risen to the management position of Vice President, Global Market Operations in Bank of America.

  • In her time in Ireland she has also attained a Master of Science (MSc) from the acclaimed Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School UCD Dublin. She’s currently a doctoral student majoring in strategic leadership.

  • Gloria is a firm advocate of female empowerment and actively involves in mentoring young women both formally and informally.

  • Gloria is not only a devoted Christian but also a mother of 4 amazing children. Amidst very tight schedules, she ensures to make time for leisure and travel amongst other things as she is committed to bequeathing a life of gratitude to all..

Dr.Linda Edhere

Financial Secretary

Dr. Linda Edhere serves as the Treasurer of the Goretti  Old Girls International (GOGI), where she manages the organization’s finances with precision and integrity. As a medical doctor with a deep commitment to both healthcare and community service, Linda brings a unique blend of expertise and dedication to her role.

Joy Ezeomo

Financial Secretary

Joy Ezeomo serves as the Financial Secretary of the Goretti  Old Girls International (GOGI), playing a crucial role in managing the organization’s financial records and ensuring transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions. With her expertise in finance and a passion for community service, Joy is dedicated to maintaining the financial integrity of GOGI.

Esosa Evbonaye

Secretary

Esosa Evbonaye served two terms as the UK/Europe Regional Director before taking on the role of Secretary for the Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI). As an entrepreneur and CEO of Total Aspirations, Esosa plays a crucial role in managing the organization’s activities and fostering effective communication within the GOGI community. Her organizational skills and commitment are key to ensuring that GOGI’s operations remain efficient and well-coordinated.

Roli Anyia

U.S. West Regional Director

Roli Anyia serves as the U.S. West Regional Director of the Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI), where she leads member engagement and regional initiatives across western U.S. states. With a background in community development and leadership, Roli brings vision, coordination, and a deep passion for GOGI’s mission.

Blessing Uwagboe

Europe/UK Regional Director

Blessing serves as the Europe/UK Regional Director for the Goretti  Old Girls International (GOGI), where she is instrumental in managing and coordinating GOGI’s activities across Europe and the United Kingdom. Her role is crucial in ensuring that GOGI’s mission is effectively represented and supported throughout these regions.

Sandra Abusomwan, U.S. South Regional Director

Sandra Abusomwen serves as the U.S. South Regional Director of the Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI), where she strengthens member networks and regional outreach. Her professional expertise and deep love for community uplift make her an inspiring and committed leader.

Queen Osarenwinda

U.S. Mid-West Regional Director

Queen Osaremwinda serves as the U.S. Mid-West Regional Director of the Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI), where she supports chapter activities and fosters alumni unity in the Mid-West region. Known for her organizational drive and dedication, Queen plays a vital role in promoting GOGI’s values.

Blessing Omoigui Egahrevba, Canada Regional Director

Blessing serves as the Europe/UK Regional Director of the Goretti Old Girls International (GOGI), coordinating programs and fostering strong connections among members across the region. With a strong background in digital services and women empowerment, she leads with purpose and heart.
